Recipe for Cheesy Garlic and Herb Rolls


Servings: 9 rolls

Prep Time: 10 min.

Cook Time: 20 min.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons salted butter, softened

  • 1 teaspoon roasted minced garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme

  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese



Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F and place your Michigan plate on a baking sheet for easy removal from the oven. 

  2. In a small bowl combine the softened butter, garlic, thyme, and parsley and mix well. Set aside.

  3. Unfold the puff pastry dough onto a clean work surface. Spread with a thin layer of the herb butter mixture, then top with shredded mozzarella to cover. Sprinkle with remaining parsley.

  4. Slice into 9 even strips and roll each section into a tight spiral. 

  5. Arrange the rolls into the baking dish and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until puffy and golden brown. Serve immediately.
