Wisconsin Roasted Almond Green Beans
Looking for something simple yet delicious for your holiday side? Try these roasted green beans with toasted panko and slivered almonds.
The holidays are a time of indulgence, but not every side dish needs to be swimming in sauce or encased in cheese. Sometimes the simple beauty of a roasted vegetable can be just what the menu needs. That’s where these roasted almond green beans come into play.
The flavors of caramelized green beans pair perfectly with lightly browned and nutty-slivered almonds and the crisp addition of toasted panko. Finished with a hint of salt and pepper, these are not your average green beans!
Serve these as is or sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, crumbled feta, or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice!
