Return & Shipping Policy


Shipping within the United States

Flat rate shipping is $12.95 for all U.S.A. domestic orders. US orders ship via UPS Ground and depart our shipping facility within 2 business days; typical shipping time via UPS in the contiguous 48 states is 1-5 business days but up to 7 or more business days is possible with Covid/weather/shipping delays. For Alaska and Hawaii, typical shipping time is 3-7 or more business days.  Expedited shipping is also available for $28.95, orders depart our shipping facility within 2 business days, shipping time with UPS 2 Day Shipping is 2 business days. You will receive an email with your tracking information when your order ships.  If you need your order quickly, it is highly recommended that you upgrade to Expedited Shipping as we cannot guarantee delivery times with our flat rate shipping option and shipping delays due to UPS are not eligible for a return.

Shipping Internationally

Flat rate shipping is $35.95 for all international orders. International orders ship via UPS Ground within 2 business days; typical delivery time is within 10-20 business days.  Additional fees, taxes, or tariffs may be required to be paid by the recipient, depending on the destination.  You will receive an email with your tracking information when your order ships.


Our exterior and product packaging is 100% recyclable as our mission is to be as environmentally conscious as we can.  Products are sold in branded, recycled cardboard packaging and ship within recycled cardboard boxes. All void fill is currently not recyclable at this time but will be in 2022.


Returning an Item

We accept returns for unused products in original product packaging within 30 days from receiving your order. Items beyond 30 days of receipt may be eligible for store credit. In order to return your item, click here to open our Returns Center. Simply follow the steps on the screen to submit your return. Once we process your return request, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to complete your return. Please see packaging instructions below.  Buyer will select a carrier of their choice and assume return shipping costs and responsibility. Please retain tracking information and we recommend you purchase insurance should you need to file a claim for your package being lost or broken as we are not responsible for packages lost in transit. Clearance items are final sale.


Once your return has been safely received and accepted, a refund for the original cost of products will be refunded, this does not include shipping.  Refund will apply to the original form of payment and can take up to 14 business days to show up on your bank statement. Should your item not be eligible for a return due to used condition, we will contact you via email. Should your item arrived damaged from return shipping, we will determine if it was packaged sufficiently and therefore eligible for a full or partial refund.

Packaging a Return

In the event that you have thrown away your shipping packaging, please note that we are unable to provide additional return packaging. We recommend that you safely pad and package items with an abundance of precaution as porcelain is a fragile material.  Materials like wadded newsprint, kraft paper, or other dense papers can be used to fill the void around the product box within the shipping box.  The product box should be fully suspended within the void fill and not touch the wall of the shipping box directly.  Lark is not responsible for any damage that occurs during return shipping and customer assumes all costs.


We do not accept exchanges at this time. Please follow the above instructions to return your item and we recommend creating a new order within our shop for the item/s you'd like to purchase.

Order Arrived Broken or Defective

If your new item arrived defective or damaged, please use our Returns Center and follow the prompts within 5 business days of receipt so that we can make it right.  A defect will need to reviewed by our team as some "flaws" such as glaze dark spots, divots, and variation in overall size and wall thickness are an inherent part of our ceramics production and considered a variation of normal. Wares are made by human hands and as such, will often show warmth of hand. If your product is broken in shipment, please keep the broken product, original product packaging, and shipping packaging as we will likely need photos to help us process the replacement. Order Returned to Lark At Home Due to Incorrect or Invalid Address

In cases like this where the package cannot be delivered due to a customer entering an incorrect or invalid address, we have no recourse to recoup shipping costs with a claim via UPS. We can ship the package again but will charge the customer for shipping to cover a second shipment. We do ship insured via UPS but unfortunately filing a claim for issues with packages only works in cases of breakage during shipment or lost packages. To avoid this situation, customers have about 24 hours after placing their order to correct an address with us, in most cases, before the package is sent. And sometimes we can even intercept a package once it's with UPS while it's out for delivery. Once it's been returned, we no longer have any options to remedy the issue and customer is responsible for secondary shipment costs.
