Crafted in high-fire porcelain and sealed with glossy white glaze for a non-stick surface, this Wisconsin-shaped bakeware is free of all lead and toxins which means it's safe for food use in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The underside is fully glazed as well with the Lark ware-stamp stating this product is ‘Designed in Detroit, USA’.

  • This Plate can be used in the oven up to 450°. We recommend avoiding direct heat from a flame broiler or stove-top.  Shocking from one temperature to another may be harmful for the wares. To decrease the risk of shocking, preheat the ware with the oven if it’s cold from a refrigerator or freezer; allow the wares to cool before placing in cold water.  Clean with mild detergents and non-abrasive cleaning tools.

    Can I send my order as a gift?

    Yes, all orders have the option to be sent as a gift.  Please select the "Gift Option" at checkout and fill in the message you'd like to include.  Your purchase will arrive with a gift receipt containing your message and all pricing omitted.


    How will I know when my gift arrives?

    At check out, please use your email (not the recipients) when prompted. Once your order hits the mailstream, you'll receive an email with a link to track your package.  Please be aware that this email may end up in your email inbox's Spam Folder, so check there if you haven't received it.


    Are the plates food safe?

    Yes, all of our wares are food safe and free of lead and other toxins.


    Are the plates safe to use in the oven?

    Yes, all of our plates are safe for use in the oven. We recommend that they not be placed under a flame broiler or over direct heat, heated to over 500˚F, or shocked from one temperature to another. To avoid shocking, preheat the dish with the oven if it’s cold from the refrigerator or freezer.  


    Are the plates safe to use in the microwave?

    Yes, all our plates are safe for use in the microwave.


    Are the plates safe to clean in the dishwasher?

    Yes, all of our plates are safe to clean in the dishwasher.  We recommend that they not be shocked from one temperature to another. To avoid shocking, allow your dish to cool to room temperature if it’s hot from the oven before washing with cold water. And alternately, allow your dish to warm to room temperature if it’s cold from the refrigerator before washing with hot water.

    What sales taxes will be charged?

    Sales tax of 6% will be added to all orders shipping to an address within Michigan.  Sales tax may be added for you order depending on your local laws.


    What are the plates made of?

    The plates are made of porcelain with a mineral-based glossy glaze on top.  They do not contain any leads or toxins. 


    Where are the plates made?

    The plates were designed in Detroit, Michigan and are made in China at a production facility with high ethical and human rights standards. The bottom of each plate has a permanent “designed in Detroit” marking and will arrive with a “made in China” sticker on the bottom as well.


    Are the plates PROP 65 compliant?

    Yes, the plates and all of our products are PROP 65 compliant.

    Shipping

    Shipping within the United States

    Flat rate shipping is $6.95 for all U.S.A. domestic orders. US orders ship via FedEx Ground within 2 business days; typical delivery time is within 1-5 days in the contiguous 48 states and 3-7 days for Alaska and Hawaii.  Expedited shipping is also available, orders ship within 2 business days via Fedex 2 day shipping and arrive within 2 business days for $21.95. You will receive an email with your tracking information when your order ships.

    Shipping Internationally

    Flat rate shipping is $24.95 for all international orders. International orders ship via FedEx Ground within 2 business days; typical delivery time is within 10-20 business days.  Additional fees, taxes, or tariffs may be required to be paid by the recipient, depending on the destination.  You will receive an email with your tracking information when your order ships.

    Packaging

    Our exterior and product packaging is 100% recyclable as our mission is to be as environmentally conscious as we can.  Products are sold in branded, recycled cardboard packaging and ship within recycled cardboard boxes. All void fill is currently not recyclable at this time but will be in 2022.

    Returns

    Returning an Item

    We accept returns for unused products in original product packaging within 30 days from receiving your order. In order to return your item, click here to open our Returns Center. Simply follow the steps on the screen, print your return label, and prepare your return, please see packaging instructions below. Clearance items are final sale.

    Refunds

    Once your return has been safely received and accepted, a refund for the original cost of products will be refunded, this does not include shipping.  Cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund. Refund will apply to the original form of payment and can take up to 14 business days to show up on your bank statement. Should your item not be eligible for a return due to used condition, we will contact you via email.

    Packaging a Return

    In the event that you have thrown away your shipping packaging, please note that we are unable to provide additional return packaging. We recommend that you safely pad and package items with an abundance of precaution as porcelain is a fragile material.  Materials like wadded newsprint, kraft paper, or other dense papers can be used to fill the void around the product box within the shipping box.  The product box should be fully suspended within the void fill and not touch the wall of the shipping box directly.  Lark is not responsible for any damage that occurs during return shipping.  Should a return item break in transit, a refund to the customer will be applied as long as shipping insurance will accept the claim.  Claims are approved based on the way a fragile item was packed and shipped. 

    Exchanges

    We do not accept exchanges at this time. Please follow the above instructions to return your item and we recommend creating a new order within our shop for the item/s you'd like to purchase.

    Order Arrived Broken or Defective

    If your new item arrived defective or damaged, please use our Returns Center and follow the prompts within 5 business days of receipt so that we can make it right. Please keep the broken product, original product packaging, and shipping packaging as we will likely need photos to help us process the replacement.
